Welcome to the Douglas County Community Mental Health Center Foundation

The Douglas County Community Mental Health Center Foundation was established in June 2002 after receiving a large donation from a private benefactor, who wishes to remain anonymous. He was extremely pleased with the care provided to his son through the various programs at the Douglas County Community Mental Health Center (CMHC). The Foundation was incorporated in July 2002 and is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) status.

The mission of the CMHC Foundation is to serve the Douglas County Community Mental Health Center, its patient community, and its staff. The overall priority of the CMHC Foundation is to support individualized care and improve positive outcomes and quality of life for patients and clients.

The CMHC Foundation funds provide opportunities to promote staff morale by improving the work and care environment.

The CMHC Foundation accepts contributions from the following who may wish to assist Douglas County Community Mental Health Center in meeting its purposes:

• Members of the community
• Corporations
• Governmental entities
